MWI Property Group Signs 577,422 SF Lease

Oak Brook, IL – September 2026– MWI Property Group has completed the lease of a newly constructed 577,422-square-foot Class A industrial facility at 21225 Lidice Parkway in Crest Hill, Illinois. The transaction brings an established and growing global logistics company serving the greater Chicagoland region to the I-55 Corridor through a long-term lease.
Situated on 37 acres within Crest Hill Business Park, the cross-docked warehouse features a 36-foot clear height, 104 truck doors, 151 trailer parking stalls, 345 vehicle parking spaces, 14 van stalls, up to 4,000 amps of power, and immediate access to the I-55 logistics corridor.
Cawley CRE Principal, Joshua Hearne, SIOR, led the leasing assignment, with Reinier Pranger and Andrew Bobak supporting marketing efforts as well.
“This was a true soup-to-nuts assignment for our team,” said Joshua Hearne, SIOR. “From identifying the opportunity and helping MWI execute on the land acquisition to navigating through the development and ultimately securing a long-term commitment from a global logistics company, Cawley was involved every step of the way. The I-55 corridor is a market we know extremely well, and we understood there was a significant opportunity for this type and size of Class A spec facility in this location.”
The transaction fulfilled MWI’s vision for a new, large-scale development in Chicagoland’s most dynamic industrial submarket. The project anchors another global user to Crest Hill Business Park and solidifies the City’s partnership with MWI.
“MWI made a strategic commitment to the I-55 corridor at a time when many developers were hesitant to pursue new spec development,” said Hearne. “Once the project was underway, our focus was on creating competition, identifying the strongest long-term opportunity, and executing on behalf of MWI. The combination of a high-quality asset, a constrained supply of large-scale industrial product, and our relationships throughout the corridor helped bring this development opportunity to the right user to the table.”
MWI Property Group’s construction affiliate, MWI Construction, served as the design-build general contractor for the project, with SPACECO providing engineering services and Harris Architects providing architectural design services.
