MWI Property Group – NAIOP Spec Development of the Year Finalist

OAK BROOK, IL – November 2024 –MWI Property Group’s 1303 Jack Court, Bartlett, IL development was nominated and was a finalist for NAIOP Chicago Chapter 2024 Industrial Speculative Development of the Year – Large Scale.  This Class A spec building was 400,112 SF on 26 acres and featured 36’ clear ceiling height, cross dock loading with up to 80 dock positions and had 470 car parking spaces plus 115 onsite trailer spaces.  MWI navigated through turbulent economic conditions to successfully develop one of the last large remaining sites in the Brewster Creek Business Park. This spec building was sold to RIM Logistics which now serves as their new global HQ.

MWI Construction was the design-build general contractor for the project with V3 and Partners in Design providing engineering and design services.  The Lee & Associates team of Michael Androwich Jr., John Cassidy and Chris Nelson were the listing agents for MWI on the sale, and Dan Smolensky of TMG represented the buyer.
